Cancellation Policy

As a result of a recent increase in last-minute cancellations and missed appointments. We now need to implement the following:

CANCELLATIONS OR NO-SHOWS
We will do our best not to cancel or re-arrange your appointments and to run to time. We really appreciate you doing the same.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that sometimes you may have to cancel an appointment. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice; otherwise, a cancellation fee of 25% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged.
No shows are charged at 50% of the service fee on the first occasion and 100% on the second occasion.
It is very difficult to fill appointments at short notice, but if we do we will not charge you a cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel please telephone us; please do not text, email or post a message on social media.

KEEPING TO TIME
If you are running late, we will do our best to fit you in, but we may not be able to provide the full service or treatment.

PAYMENT DETAILS
Before we take your payment details to cover a cancellation charge or a deposit, we will confirm:

The service or treatment you have booked.
The total price of the service or treatment booked, or how the price will be calculated if an exact price cannot be given.
The time and date of the appointment.

DEPOSITS
A deposit of 50% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged if you:

missed your last appointment with us
You are a new client booking for an appointment lasting more than two hours, such as hair colour or Kerasilk treatment.

The deposit will be taken when you book your appointment and will be taken off your bill when you pay for the service or treatment you have received. The deposit will be fully refunded if you cancel, as long as you give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
If you give us less than 48 hours’ notice, we will either refund you half the deposit or put it towards the cost of your next appointment.
The deposit will be fully refunded if a service or treatment is unsuitable for you or cannot be provided for any reason.

Before you toss your favourite shampoos and styling products, there’s a simpler solution. Clarifying your hair is often all that’s needed to get you back on track. You can think of it as a quick reset that’s important for a healthy scalp and head of hair.
Essentially, hair clarification is a process that removes buildup from your hair. Styling products, hard water and natural oil production are all things that can lead to a little extra grease and sad-looking tresses. Fortunately, a quick clarifying shampoo or scrub can quickly nip the resulting annoyances in the bud and give your scalp a fresh start.

How Often Should You Clarify Your Hair?

We recommend clarifying your hair between once a month to four times a month, but it will largely depend on your lifestyle and hair type. If dry shampoo, hairspray, pastes, and other styling products are a part of your daily routine, if you shower in hard water, or spend a lot of time sweating or swimming, you may want to opt for a clarifying rinse or shampoo once a week, or four times a month.
If you rarely use hair products and often don’t have an oily scalp or hair, you can lean on a less frequent hair clarifying routine, around once a month or as needed if you start to notice the signs of build-up.
